Design floor care

Regular cleaning of design floors

Remove loose dirt and small stones by first cleaning your design floor with a vacuum cleaner or broom.

For damp mopping, add a vinyl cleaner or all-purpose cleaner to fresh water. Follow the manufacturer’s dosage instructions.

Always use fresh water and a clean mop. It is advisable to use two buckets: one for the diluted cleaning solution and another with clean water to rinse the mop.

Although vinyl is water-repellent, always wring out the mop well before mopping and wipe with a dry cloth. This will prevent standing water on the floorboards, prevent water from penetrating the joints and prevent swelling.

Always remove stains as soon as possible.

The first cleaning of design floors

Freshly laid design floors should be cleaned thoroughly before being used on a daily basis. First clean the floor dry and remove any coarse dirt. A special vinyl cleaner should be used for wet mopping. Vinyl cleaners clean and maintain the floor without leaving a residue. The sealant remains resistant to dirt. The gloss is permanently maintained.

For the mixing ratio, follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the detergent label.
